Sales & Commercial Analyst

6-Month Fixed Term Contract (Strong Potential to Go Permanent)

up £50,000 per annum

Location: Evesham (on-site - 5 days)

Are you someone who loves numbers and enjoys understanding what they actually mean for a business? This opportunity is not about building dashboards or sitting behind spreadsheets all day. Our client is looking for someone who is naturally curious about data someone who enjoys digging into numbers, spotting patterns, and using those insights to help drive better commercial decisions.

This role sits at the intersection of data, commercial thinking, and problem solving. You will be working with operational and technical teams across the business, interpreting data sets, identifying trends, and helping the business understand what the numbers are really telling them.

You might already be working in a commercial, operational, engineering, product, cost or analytical role where you regularly work with data, and the part of the job you enjoy most is exploring the numbers and finding the story behind them.

This could be an excellent opportunity to step into a dedicated commercial data-focused role.

What the role involves

Interpreting and analysing commercial and operational data to support business decisions

Manipulating and structuring datasets using advanced Excel

Identifying patterns, trends and opportunities within large data sets

Working closely with teams across the business to understand challenges and translate data into practical insight

Supporting the business in improving processes, performance and commercial outcomes through better use of data

What we’re looking for

Someone who genuinely loves working with numbers and data

Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with datasets

Strong commercial awareness and the ability to interpret what data means in a real business context

A curious mindset someone who enjoys investigating trends and asking “why?”

Experience demonstrating how data insights have supported business improvement or decision making

What this role is not

This role is not purely a technical data analyst or reporting position.

We are not looking for someone who simply builds reports or dashboards. Instead, we are looking for someone who can interpret data, understand the commercial story behind it, and help the business make smarter decisions.
