Project Business Development Manager – Hospitality Design, Fit-out and catering equipment

Location – Essex, London, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey, Berkshire, Suffolk

Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 base OTE £60,000 Car (Hybrid), laptop/mobile, pension

An established customer-focused business specialising in the design, sourcing, and supply of commercial kitchen and bar equipment for the hospitality sector. The company works with cafés, restaurants, bars, clubs, hotels, and other catering outlets, providing bespoke equipment solutions alongside expert design support, installation, and after-care services to ensure efficient and reliable kitchen operations.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, your role will be predominantly driving new business opportunities within the HoReCa sector—ranging from coffee shops and restaurants to hotels and pubs. You’ll also manage a small portfolio of existing accounts, but your main focus will be identifying new business opportunities, promoting and selling the services offered, working closely with the design and project teams and negotiating and securing business. Strategic thinking, strong communication, and a proactive mindset are essential as you balance nurturing long-term relationships with securing fresh business to fuel growth.

The Person

You’ll have a strong track record in business development within the hospitality fit out (preferred), catering equipment or foodservice industry—working with clients such as hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, contract caterers, or bars.
