Senior Electronics Engineer // Sheffield // up to £70k + benefits

The Oho Group have partnered with an ambitious tech-for-good design consultancy on the lookout for an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to make an impact on their successful and growing team!

This is an opportunity to take real ownership, steer the direction of projects and make a real difference in the world of biotech and medtech as part of a multidisciplinary team.

What’s in it for you?

• End-to-end electronic design: component selection, schematics, PCB layout & procurement from design and prototype to manufacture and launch
• Hands-on PCB assembly (THT & SMD) and modification
• Circuit inspection, testing and debugging (oscilloscopes, logic analysers)
• Fast-paced projects across a range of sectors and client requirements

Nice to have

• Embedded C/C++ firmware experience
• SPICE and/or RF simulation
• Understanding of mechanical integration and cross-disciplinary constraints
• Ability to balance performance, thermal, power and manufacturability requirements
• An eye for the beautiful as well as the practical
