Mechanical Technician - Marine Systems

Executive Integrity | B Corp™ is looking for a Mechanical Technician - Marine Systems

Job description

Job Title: Product Support Technician

Location: Southampton, UK

The Opportunity:

Our client is an established designer and manufacturer of advanced electric propulsion and smart marine systems, operating at the forefront of the transition away from combustion power. Its technology is deployed across commercial, defence, leisure and autonomous vessels, with international demand increasing as operators seek cleaner, higher performance solutions. With more systems entering service and production scaling, this appointment strengthens technical capability at a commercially critical point. The individual will protect product performance in the field while directly influencing how the next generation of systems are refined and improved.

The Impact You Will Have:

• Safeguard reliability across customer fleets, resolving issues that affect uptime and commercial confidence

• Convert real world testing and field data into clear engineering feedback that sharpens product performance

• Support production peaks while maintaining uncompromising quality standards

• Represent the business on UK and international sites, reinforcing technical credibility

• Contribute to structured testing that validates efficiency, durability and system resilience

What Success Looks Like:

• Marine assembly or maintenance background with strong electrical competence

• Confident fault finding using professional diagnostic tools

• Analytical and disciplined when interpreting data and identifying root cause

• Comfortable engaging customers and suppliers with authority

• Self directed, accountable and motivated by technical excellence

What Is on Offer:

Direct exposure to advanced electric propulsion and marine autonomy technology.

Influence over product evolution, not just product support.

International travel and visibility.

A flexible, adult working culture.

Long term progression as the business scales globally.

This role is suited to technicians who want responsibility, influence and measurable impact, not just routine.
