M&E Project Engineer

Job description

Mechanical & Electrical Project Engineer – London.

We are currently working with several Tier One Contractors delivering some of London’s most prestigious projects, and we are looking for Mechanical & Electrical Project Engineers to join their growing teams.

They have major M&E schemes throughout London with M&E values up to 35 Million Plus.

These roles offer the opportunity to work on large-scale developments across London, including:

• Commercial office new builds and CAT A/CAT B fit-outs

• Data centre developments

• High-end residential buildings

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of M&E packages across major construction projects
• Support project managers in coordinating mechanical and electrical services
• Manage subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to the programme
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and commissioning plans
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project standards
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and site teams

Requirements:

• Educational background in Building Services / Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• (HND, HNC, BEng, or Master’s degree)
• Minimum 18 months’ experience within the Building Services industry
• Experience working on commercial, residential, or data centre projects preferred
• Strong understanding of M&E coordination and site delivery
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Location: London

Salary: £40,000-£75,000 depending on Experience

Projects: Commercial offices, data centres, residential developments, and major fit-outs
