Lead Software Engineer

Job description

This role is ideal for a Lead Engineer or Principal Software Engineer who is ready to step into a hands-on Engineering Manager position. It offers the chance to combine technical leadership with active contribution to engineering delivery.

The current tech stack includes Python, Django, TypeScript, GCP, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and a TDD, shift-left environment. However, specific stack experience is not essential as strong engineers can adapt and learn new technologies quickly.

What is essential is FinCrime experience within a bank or fintech environment (AML, sanctions, etc.).

The client is a London-based fintech that helps businesses manage international money-related tasks, particularly cross-border payments, foreign exchange (FX), and related financing solutions, enabling companies to trade and operate globally in a more efficient and cost-effective way.

The role is London-based, with four days in the office and one day remote each week.
