In-House Legal Assistant / Paralegal

Hybrid Working | £35,000 | Growing National Housing Company

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join the in-house legal team of a growing national housing company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working in private practice who is looking to transition in-house and broaden their commercial exposure.

The Role

Working closely with the General Counsel and senior stakeholders across the business, you will support a wide range of legal matters, including:

• Corporate and commercial matters
• Contract drafting, review and negotiation
• Supplier and development agreements
• Dispute resolution and pre-litigation matters
• Legal research and risk analysis
• Maintaining contract management systems and compliance records

This role offers genuine variety and the opportunity to gain insight into strategic decision-making within a fast-growing organisation.

About You

We are particularly interested in candidates who:

• Have experience in Corporate & Commercial, Dispute Resolution or Contracts within private practice
• Have strong drafting and analytical skills
• Are commercially minded and able to communicate effectively with non-legal stakeholders
• Are organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities
• Are seeking to develop a long-term in-house career
