Senior Talent Acquisition professional - High‑Growth, Heavily Funded Tech Scale‑Up


Location: Newcastle (On‑site, 5 days per week)

Salary: £60,000 + benefits + rapid career progression

The Role:


We’re seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Lead with at least 5 years of hands-on recruitment experience in tech, capable of partnering with senior technical leadership, scaling hiring operations, and shaping the organisation's future.

This is a pivotal role within a company expected to grow from 150 to 1,000 people at an extraordinary speed. You’ll have autonomy to influence hiring strategies, processes, and standards across the business.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Newcastle, Monday–Friday.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Own end-to-end recruitment across all functions, including Tech
  • Partner closely with senior tech leaders to align hiring strategies with business objectives
  • Lead competency-based interviews and ensure rigorous, consistent assessment frameworks
  • Support the design, optimise, and refine scalable TA processes suitable for hyper-growth
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for both immediate and future hiring needs
  • Drive data-led recruitment strategies to improve speed, quality, and candidate experience
  • Create employer branding initiatives and strategic TA projects
  • Participate in workforce planning and broader People strategy discussions


What We’re Looking For:


  • Exceptional academic background (strong degree or equivalent, outstanding academic results)
  • 3+ years’ experience in talent acquisition, ideally within engineering or product-led tech environments
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior technology leaders
  • Strong competency-based interviewing expertise
  • Proven experience designing and implementing scalable talent processes
  • Ability to build, manage, and convert long-term talent pipelines
  • A blend of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery
  • High levels of organisation, drive, and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth setting
