Senior Quantity Surveyor (Construction Consultancy)

Location: London (Frequent travel to Paris)

Salary: Up to £125k + package

Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our London office, supporting major European projects with regular travel to Paris.


You will take a leading role in the commercial delivery of high-profile developments, working closely with international clients, contractors and project teams. The position offers a blend of office-based work in London and on-site/project engagement in Paris, providing excellent exposure to large-scale mission critical construction projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide full cost management services across pre-contract and post-contract stages.
  • Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets and commercial reports.
  • Lead procurement and tendering processes including analysis and recommendations.
  • Manage valuations, variations and final accounts.
  • Advise clients on commercial strategy, project costs and risk management.
  • Attend project and client meetings in both London and Paris.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants and design teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
  • Undertake project due diligence and commercial reviews.
  • Monitor commercial performance and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Support delivery of complex and technically demanding projects, particularly within data centre environments.
  • Maintain and develop strong client relationships across multiple locations.


Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Relevant third-level qualification.
  • 5+ years’ Quantity Surveying experience, preferably within a consultancy environment.
  • Experience delivering projects across pre and post contract stages.
  • Construction stage Data Centre or mission critical project experience desirable.
  • Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
  • Mechanical and Electrical project exposure advantageous.
  • Ability to travel regularly to Paris.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing capability.
  • Organised, proactive and capable of working independently within an international team environment.
