Advocate Group is proud to represent a great growth drinks business, in their search for a Fractional Liquid Developer / R&D Technologist (2-Month Contract) to join their innovation team at a pivotal stage of growth.

The Business:

· Founder-led challenger brand built from the ground up, now scaling.

· Premium functional drinks powered by adaptogens and natural ingredients

· Expanding the fast-growing range — a healthier alternative to alcohol

· Strong UK manufacturing partner with zero-carbon, sustainable production

· Organic botanical sourcing partner (250-acre farm) and established supplier network

· Entering on-trade hospitality with new glass bottle launch for summer

The Role:

We are looking for a candidate that can make their mark and take ownership of liquid innovation across a critical growth phase. Here’s how:

· Lead flavour development and refinement across 4 new SKUs and 1 existing product

· Create flavour profiles

· Balance functionality and taste to deliver best-in-class alcohol alternatives

· Brief and collaborate with manufacturing and ingredient partners

· Manage the process from concept through to commercial production

· Travel to site ocassionally/ad hoc to oversee briefing and execution

· Sign off final commercial recipes

About You:

· Proven background in beverage formulation (liquid development / liquid technologist / R&D)

· Experience working on commercially scaled drinks production

· Strong understanding of flavour balancing and natural/adaptogenic ingredients

· Comfortable working cross-functionally with suppliers and manufacturers

· Able to work autonomously in a senior, fractional capacity
