Mechanical Design Engineer - (Building Services / MEP)

Colchester, Essex

£40k - £60k Dependent on Experience

Mechanical Design Engineer / Building Services / Construction / MEP

This Mechanical Design Engineer role is to join a busy, growing company, where you will be part of a close-knit team.

Projects are primarily high spec residential and commercial, it’s a friendly supportive working environment, where you’ll feel at home from day one.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a design team delivering detailed designs on a wide variety of projects
• Undertaking all thermal calcs,
• Specifying systems, water, PH, boilers, heating and HVAC
• Remaining aware of the latest building regulations and technical standards
• Attending a range of project group and technical meetings

Qualifications

• Ideally you will have a MEng / BEng in Mechanical Engineering or an accredited building services degree but this is not essential.
• You will be a mechanical design engineer with at least 3 years’ experience in building services.
• You will need to be an excellent communicator
