Senior Project Manager – Commodities

Job description

We are working with a leading global commodities firm that is looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to support Front Office-led change across its Commodities business.

The role will focus on delivering new trading products and platform enhancements across Energy markets, working closely with Front, Middle and Back Office technology teams.

You will be involved in delivering change across core trading platforms, including established ETRM systems such as Openlink Endur and Orchestrade, alongside internal applications and wider system integrations.

This role is based in the City of London and offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office. The position is offering a base salary of up to £125,000 with potential flexibility, plus bonus and a strong benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Front to Back New Product Onboarding initiatives across Energy and Commodities
• Manage delivery activity across trading, risk and operations technology teams
• Work closely with Front Office stakeholders and senior delivery leads
• Plan and run Agile delivery using Kanban
• Own delivery governance, RAID management and project reporting

Experience required

• Senior Project Management experience within Commodities, with Energy exposure highly beneficial
• Experience delivering Front Office facing technology change
• Understanding of OTC and Exchange Traded Derivatives and the trade lifecycle
• Experience working with ETRM platforms such as Openlink, Orchestrade or similar systems
• Comfortable operating in complex, fast-moving delivery environments
