The Opportunity
Our client is a specialist UK technology business developing advanced precision systems for international manufacturers. Their UK software team is small, highly capable, and entering a new phase of technical growth.
This is a hands-on Senior Software Engineer role with genuine architectural influence.

The Tech
- C# (.NET 8), WPF (MVVM)
- SQL databases
- CI/CD pipelines & Git workflows
- Hardware integration & industrial communication protocols
- Automation or safety-critical environments (desirable)
About You
You likely have:
- Strong commercial C#/.NET experience
- Experience with structured desktop applications (WPF or similar)
- A testing mindset and experience improving codebases
- Confidence working with complex, multi-threaded or hardware-connected systems
Industrial automation experience is helpful but not essential — transferable experience from other complex environments is welcomed.
Location
- Oxford area (site-based collaboration)
- 2–4 international trips per year
