Transport Planner | Bristol
We are currently working with an award-winning transport planning consultancy that provides planning and engineering design services to a wide range of clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a talented Transport Planner to their expanding team in Bristol.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Transport Assessments and Statements to support planning applications
- Develop and implement effective Travel Plans
- Design efficient, safe, and sustainable junction layouts
- Undertake transport modelling and data analysis
- Carry out access appraisals and accessibility assessments
- Support sustainable transport strategies and masterplanning work
- Liaise with clients, design teams, and local authorities
About You
- Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field
- 2+ years’ experience in transport planning (consultancy experience desirable)
- Experience using industry software such as AutoCAD, ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG and TRICS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- A proactive and collaborative approach to project work
