About Us:
Our client is the Financial Solutions division of a global telecoms and media group. The business provides structured finance solutions, supply chain and trade finance, securitisation products, insurance brokerage services, and shared services and procurement support.

The Role:
This Senior Legal Counsel (Director level) position sits within a growing six-person legal team (VP Legal, three Directors and two additional hires including this role).
Reporting to the Head of Structured Finance Legal and VP Legal, you will support the Structured & Specialty Finance teams on complex financial transactions. The role is highly transactional and product-focused — less corporate M&A, more structured finance execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate loan agreements and financing documentation.
- Advise on receivables financing and lending structures.
- Support on on- and off-balance sheet arrangements.
- Provide legal input on trade and supply chain finance transactions.
- Act as a key legal adviser as transactions are originated and structured.
- Partner closely with finance and commercial stakeholders across the Financial Solutions team.
About You:
- 6–8 years’ PQE (flexible depending on experience).
- Strong background in financial transactions.
- Experience in structured finance, receivables/lending products, or financing structures.
- Likely trained in private practice.
- Commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and active deal flow in a fast-paced environment.
