The Opportunity

We are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing £66m business unit within a well-established national contractor, delivering recladding, refurbishment and decarbonisation schemes across the South.

This is a position for a strong performing Quantity Surveyor and offers the chance to step into a structured commercial team with genuine autonomy and clear progression routes.

Projects typically range from £1m–£10m, with larger flagship schemes up to £80m across social housing and residential frameworks.

The Role

• Take full commercial responsibility for your own projects
• Manage £5m–£10m schemes independently
• Oversee cost control, valuations, variations and final accounts
• Work closely with Contracts Managers and operational teams
• Contribute to commercial reporting and risk management
• Support framework delivery under JCT and PPC contracts

This is a hands-on role - you will be expected to run your own jobs confidently and commercially.

Clients include major registered providers and long-term framework partners across the South.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years’ experience operating at Quantity Surveyor level
• Experience running projects independently
• Background in social housing, refurbishment, property services or recladding preferred
• Strong commercial grounding and understanding of JCT contracts
• Comfortable managing £5m+ packages
• Team-oriented, professional and steady approach

Degree-qualified is welcomed but not essential — experience and capability are prioritised.
