Contracts Manager – Infrastructure | South West Portfolio
Location: Covering the South West
Salary: Up to £52,500 (DOE) + Company Van + Overtime + Fully Funded Training
Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a background in rail and construction, ready to take ownership of essential infrastructure projects across the South West?
We’re looking for a driven and hands-on Contracts Manager to oversee de-vegetation and fencing packages across the regional rail network. You’ll manage works from planning through to delivery across multiple live sites, ensuring safety, quality and programme targets are consistently achieved.

The Role
As a Contracts Manager, you will:
• Manage multiple rail infrastructure contracts across live operational environments
• Oversee site teams delivering vegetation clearance and fencing installation works
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
• Liaise with clients, planners and operational stakeholders
• Plan resources, materials and programmes of work
• Travel across sites throughout the South West region
This role suits someone who enjoys operational leadership, site presence, and taking full ownership of projects.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
• Proven experience managing rail, construction, fencing or de-vegetation contracts (desirable)
• Black CSCS Card
• PTS (Personal Track Safety)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• A proactive, safety-first mindset
