Senior Management Accountant – Production

Piramal Finance is looking for a highly analytical, commercially minded Senior Management Accountant – Production to join our Morpeth site. This is a pivotal role supporting the EPF & CTS Business Units, delivering high-quality financial insight that drives EBITDA performance, working capital optimisation, and smarter decision-making.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll partner closely with the Site Leadership Team, acting as a trusted finance business partner and playing a key role in shaping site performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Financial Analysis & Performance

• Deliver timely, accurate and insightful management information
• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis and performance reporting
• Analyse gross margin, operating expenses, inventory and cost control
• Ensure all material variances are understood, documented and actioned

Forecasting, Budgeting & Planning

• Prepare monthly financial forecasts and rolling forecasts
• Lead the annual budgeting process
• Identify risks and opportunities to maximise EBITDA and cash flow

Inventory & Working Capital

• Oversee inventory accounting, valuation and reconciliation
• Monitor stock levels, turnover, obsolescence and provisions
• Partner with operations, procurement and supply chain to optimise inventory

Business Partnering

• Support Business Unit Managers with financial insight and guidance
• Evaluate RFPs, pricing, invoicing, project costs and overhead spend
• Review and approve customer pricing to ensure profitability and MSA compliance

Governance & Compliance

• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Act as the primary audit contact for the site
• Ensure strong internal controls and financial compliance
• Monitor debtor ageing, overdue balances and credit exposure

What You’ll Need

Essential Qualifications

• Part-qualified or recently qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA

Essential Experience

• Previous finance roles, ideally within a production or manufacturing environment
