Process Technician

Job description

Our client, a well-established injection moulding company is looking for a Process Technician to help improve and support their production processes, ensuring parts are made to the right standard, on time, and cost-effectively.

This is an autonomous role where you will play a key role in providing hands – on production support, setting up, running, and optimising a new automated manufacturing process.

Job Description

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, reducing waste and downtime
• Support and deliver weekly production schedules to meet customer requirements
• Monitor production progress and resolve production issues
• Ensure materials, tools, and resources are available for production
• Achieve target output rates and equipment efficiency by ensuring manufacturing processes are running smoothly

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Good understanding of quality and production processes
• A hands-on, problem-solving approach
• Experience tracking and reporting output figures
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principals
