Large Format CAD Cutting Table Operative

We’re looking for a skilled and detail driven CAD Cutting Table Operative to join our Large Format Production team. You’ll operate automated cutting systems (Kongsberg) working from dielines and job tickets to produce highquality POS and display components.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Large Format CAD Cutting Table Operative based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The operative will manage and operate large-format CAD cutting equipment, ensure projects meet quality and precision standards, and follow technical drawings and CAD specifications. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, collaborating with team members to ensure seamless workflows, and troubleshooting production issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate largeformat CAD cutting tables
• Load materials and select correct tooling
• Follow job specs, dielines, and production documents
• Ensure accuracy, clean cuts, and consistent quality
• Perform basic maintenance and keep workstation tidy
• Support wider finishing tasks when required

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with CAD cutting tables or similar finishing equipment
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fastpaced environment
• Knowledge of largeformat substrates (desirable)
• CAD or print industry experience beneficial
