Senior Property Portfolio Manager – Local Authority PartnershipsHarrow (Fully office-based, 5 days)
Up to £70,000 depending on experience + discretionary bonus
Type: Full-time, permanent
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–6:00pm
Macdonald & Company are exclusively partnered We are partnering with an established private property group that is building and strengthening its direct local authority partnership model across its London portfolio. The business owns and manages a significant residential portfolio and is focused on securing longer-term, stable income through direct borough relationships and institutional placements.
This is not a retail lettings role.
The focus is on securing placements, reducing voids and strengthening direct council partnerships to improve occupancy and income stability across the portfolio.
The Role
You will play a key part in developing and expanding the group’s direct local authority engagement. This is a commercially focused position combining operational oversight with proactive relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain direct relationships with London borough housing teams
- Secure placements and longer-term booking arrangements
- Drive void reduction and improve occupancy performance
- Monitor supply pipelines and placement throughput
- Work closely with senior leadership to refine housing supply strategy
- Oversee performance across a diverse residential portfolio
You are likely to come from a background in:
- Temporary accommodation placements
- Supported housing commissioning
- PRS procurement within a local authority
- Housing supply / acquisitions
- Landlord liaison within council environments
This is an office-based role in Harrow (5 days per week) and will suit someone who values visibility, collaboration and direct impact.
