Clinical Negligence Paralegal

Salary up to £32,000 per annum

We're working alongside a national, top-100 UK law firm, looking for a Clinical Negligence Paralegal to join our client’s growing Manchester team. You’ll support solicitors on a varied caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, assisting from initial instruction through to settlement or trial. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on litigation experience within a structured and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting fee earners with the day-to-day management of clinical negligence claims
• Obtaining, reviewing and organising medical records
• Preparing chronologies, summaries and case plans
• Drafting correspondence, witness statements and court documents
• Liaising with clients, medical experts, counsel and third parties
• Supporting with pre-action protocol steps and litigation procedures
• Preparing trial bundles and hearing documentation
• Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate file records

What we need from you:

• Previous experience within clin neg or PI litigation
• Understanding of the litigation process and pre-action protocols
• Strong drafting and organisational skills
• Confident client communication skills
