Waiting Staff The Double Red Duke – Bicester

We are looking for thoughtful, energetic and service-driven Waiting Staff to join the team at The Double Red Duke.

The Double Red Duke is a vibrant pub with rooms in the heart of Oxfordshire, known for its open-fire cooking, beautiful seasonal produce and genuinely warm hospitality. Our dining room is lively, generous and guest-focused – and we’re building a team who take pride in every detail of the experience.

This is hospitality done properly.

What you’ll be doing

• Delivering warm, confident and attentive table service
• Guiding guests through menus with knowledge and enthusiasm
• Working closely with the bar and kitchen to ensure smooth service
• Setting up and resetting sections to exceptional standards
• Creating a welcoming atmosphere for both regulars and new guests
• Supporting the wider team during busy periods

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in a quality restaurant, pub or hotel (preferred but not essential)
• A natural warmth and confidence with guests
• Energy and composure under pressure
• Attention to detail and pride in presentation
• A team-first mindset
• A genuine interest in food, drink and hospitality

Most importantly, we’re looking for people who care — about the guest, about standards, and about working as part of a close-knit team.
