Regional MEP Commercial Manager - Tier 1 Main Contractor (Fit Out Division)

Salary: Up to £125,000 + Competitive Package

Location: Central London - projects in Liverpool Street, Bank, London Bridge & more.

The Opportunity

A leading construction group, operating through a specialist fit out division, is seeking an experienced Lead MEP Commercial Manager to join their team delivering high-profile commercial interior projects.

This role requires a commercially driven individual who can take full ownership of the MEP commercial function, managing projects from cradle to grave across major Cat A and Cat B fit out schemes. You will play a key role in driving commercial performance on large flagship projects or across multiple concurrent schemes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the MEP commercial management of major Cat A and Cat B commercial fit out projects.
• Manage projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring strong commercial control throughout.
• Take ownership of procurement, cost management, valuations, variations, and final accounts across MEP packages.
• Lead negotiations with subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Work closely with operational and project leadership teams to support successful project delivery.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities across projects.
• Provide commercial leadership across schemes and support the development of junior commercial staff where required.
• Ensure robust contract administration and adherence to internal commercial processes.

About You

• Proven experience operating as a Commercial Manager or Lead Commercial Manager within construction or specialist fit out.
• Extensive experience delivering Cat A and Cat B commercial fit out projects.
• Strong track record managing MEP commercial packages on large or complex schemes.
• Experience leading the commercial function on major projects or multiple schemes simultaneously.
• Ability to work on projects from cradle to grave, including pre-construction, delivery, and final account.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
