Sales Lead – Financial Services Consulting

London | £75,000 – £90,000 base + bonus/car allowance

A leading global consulting firm is hiring Sales Capture Leads to support continued growth across its Financial Services practice.

This role sits within a specialist sales team responsible for originating, shaping and closing complex consulting engagements with major FS clients across banking, asset management, wealth and insurance.

You will take ownership of mid-sized strategic deals (£1m–£15m), managing the full opportunity lifecycle from early client engagement through to negotiation and close.

• Leading capture and sales strategy for complex consulting engagements
• Building relationships with senior decision-makers across Financial Services organisations
• Shaping client value propositions with consulting, technology and delivery teams
• Leading client pitches, proposals and commercial discussions
• Coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to respond to client opportunities
• Contributing to competitive positioning and deal strategy across the pipeline

What They’re Looking For

• 4–8 years’ experience in professional services or advisory sales
• Experience selling complex, people-led consulting engagements (not product or licence sales)
• Proven exposure to £1m–£15m deal sizes or similar strategic opportunities
• Strong Financial Services domain knowledge (banking, capital markets, asset management, wealth or insurance)
• Ability to manage long, consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication, storytelling and executive presence

• £75,000 – £90,000 base salary
