About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager South to lead growth initiatives across the South of the UK, focusing on building and expanding relationships with Dealers and Occupational Therapists (OTs). This is a pivotal role that bridges trade and clinical engagement, ensuring our products reach those who need them through strong professional networks and partnerships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealer Engagement & Growth:
  • Identify, onboard, and develop relationships with key dealer partners.
  • Drive revenue growth by supporting dealers in sales strategies, product training, and joint marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor dealer performance and implement improvement plans where needed.


  • OT Engagement & Advocacy:
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with occupational therapists across NHS, private practice, and local authorities.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, CPD-accredited training sessions, and clinical support to OTs to influence product recommendations.
  • Attend OT conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to promote brand and product awareness.


  • Sales & Market Development:
  • Meet and exceed individual targets.
  • Identify new opportunities in untapped geographical or sector-specific markets.
  • Tailor campaigns and materials for dealer and clinical audiences.

  • Product & Market Intelligence:
  • Gather feedback from dealers and OTs to inform product development and improvements.
  • Stay informed about competitor products, pricing, and market activity.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on market trends and performance.


About You:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management – preferably within healthcare, mobility, or assistive technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of dealer/distributor sales models and/or clinical sales environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a field-based role with regular travel.
  • Experience working with or selling to occupational therapists.
  • Knowledge of healthcare procurement processes and community equipment services.
  • Existing network within the OT or dealer community.
