Business Development Manager
Offshore Wind Supply Chain, UK
We are supporting an offshore wind supplier expanding its commercial presence across the European market.
The organisation is investing significantly in international growth and is seeking a Business Development Manager to support client engagement, market development, and strategic opportunity positioning across key offshore wind regions.
This is a highly visible, externally facing role suited to candidates with strong commercial instincts and a solid understanding of the offshore wind project ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new market opportunities across the offshore wind sector
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, EPC contractors, and key supply chain stakeholders
- Support commercial positioning for upcoming offshore wind projects and tenders
- Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis
- Represent the organisation at international industry events and client meetings
- Contribute to regional sales strategy and growth planning
- Manage the client engagement lifecycle from early positioning through opportunity development
Requirements
- Experience in offshore wind, renewables, or heavy offshore energy sectors
- Background in business development, commercial, or client-facing roles
- Understanding of offshore wind project lifecycle and supply chain dynamics
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Familiarity with international contracting frameworks (e.g. FIDIC) is advantageous
