Do you have experience managing a sales territory and developing retail accounts within sectors such as gifting, lifestyle, homeware, or consumer goods?


Can you demonstrate a track record of growing sales and building strong relationships with independent retailers or regional accounts?


Macgregor Black are partnering with a Premium Gifting Brand on the search for a Territory Sales Manager. This is a remote role based in Scotland


As the Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, developing accounts, and managing relationships with retailers across Scotland. This role requires a self-motivated and commercially-minded individual who can plan and execute a strategic approach to territory management, while delivering exceptional results.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Own and manage a defined sales territory covering Scotland, with a focus on Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Southern regions.
  • Achieve and exceed sales and profit targets in line with the company’s commercial strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with independent retailers, regional stores, and key national accounts.
  • Identify and open new accounts based on market potential and opportunity analysis.
  • Plan and execute regular sales calls and visits, optimising territory coverage and efficiency.
  • Support in-store product presentation, merchandising, and promotional activity to ensure brand standards are consistently met.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and promotional activity with retailers within company guidelines.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
  • Report regularly to Sales Leadership, providing updates on performance, opportunities, and competitor activity.
  • Participate in trade shows, regional events, and promotional activities as required.


What We're Looking For:


  • Proven sales experience, ideally in a field-based or territory management role.
  • Experience within gifting, lifestyle, homeware, or related consumer goods sectors is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a geographically dispersed territory.
  • Willingness to travel across Scotland as required.
