Sales Application Engineer

Location: North of England (Field-Based)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and technically minded Sales Application Engineer with experience in CNC metal cutting to join a growing and supportive team.

This role combines technical expertise and sales, working with existing customers while identifying and developing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with an internal technical and sales team while managing customer relationships across the North of England.

This is a field-based role, offering the chance to work directly with customers, provide technical solutions, and help improve manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and develop relationships with existing key accounts
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Provide technical advice and application support to customers
• Source and interpret technical information to recommend the most suitable solutions
• Work collaboratively with internal technical teams to deliver effective customer solutions
• Visit customers across the region to maintain strong working relationships
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical support

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes
• 2–3 years’ experience working with CNC equipment or cutting tools
• The ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers
• A team-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently in a field-based role
• A valid driving licence
• Residence in the North of England
