Consultant Medical Microbiologist (with Infectious Diseases) – East of England

We are supporting a large NHS teaching hospital in the East of England with the appointment of a Consultant Medical Microbiologist (with Infectious Diseases).

Key details:

• Replacement post within an established team of 7 Microbiology Consultants

• Cross-site working across a regional pathology network

• 1:8 out-of-hours rota (when fully staffed)

• Involvement in Infection Prevention & Control (IPC)

• Flexible working and LTFT options available

• Collaborative teaching hospital environment

This opportunity would suit a Consultant with a strong interest in Infectious Diseases and IPC, looking to work within a well-established regional service model.

Referral bonus: £1,000–£2,000 for a successful Consultant referral.
