Job description
We are supporting a well-established building services consultancy in the recruitment of an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Chichester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with approximately 2–5 years’ experience in mechanical building services design who is looking to develop their career and work across a range of projects within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design of HVAC and mechanical building services systems
- Production of drawings, calculations and technical specifications
- Use of AutoCAD and Revit
- Supporting projects from concept through to completion
- Attending site visits and client meetings
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary design team
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Experience in UK building services design
- Understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Working towards Chartership (desirable)
