Job Title: Security Architect L1 – Palo Alto Firewall

Location: Warwick | Hybrid

Experience: 8– 9+ years

About the Role:

We are looking for a Security Architect (L1) with hands-on expertise in Palo Alto Networks firewalls to join our client's agile team. You will be responsible for configuring, designing, deploying, and managing next-generation firewallsfor enterprise-level environments, including Azure Landing Zones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage Palo Alto NGFWs, including IPS, App-ID, URL filtering, and Sandboxing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve firewall issues efficiently.
• Manage firewalls through Panorama and ensure enterprise-wide consistency.
• Work in an Agile team to support new Azure platform buildouts and firewall deployments.
• Plan, design, deploy, integrate, upgrade, and monitor firewall devices.
• Apply emergency rules and maintain firewall devices and management consoles.
• Support migrations, transformations, and enterprise implementation projects.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (hardware & virtual) and Cisco firewalls at enterprise level.
• 5–12+ years of experience in firewall design, configuration, and management.
• Understanding of networking concepts and public cloud (Azure preferred).
• CCNP Security or equivalent certification preferred.
• Palo Alto Networks / Azure certifications are a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with firewall migration and transformation projects.
• Knowledge of Azure Landing Zones and cloud security configurations.
