Harper Evans Recruitment is looking for a Electronics Engineer

Job description

You're an electronics engineer who wants more than maintaining existing systems. You want to build something.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a well-funded tech start-up developing advanced sensing technologies, where you'll have real influence over next-generation products. You'll work alongside talented, world-leading engineers and scientists in a highly creative environment. This is a role that offers ongoing career development in a culture that recognises the value you bring.

What you will be doing

You'll be involved in electronic design across the full development cycle, from defining system requirements through to integration and testing.

Day-to-day, this means:

  • Designing and developing low-noise analogue and digital circuits
  • Prototyping electronic components and sub-systems used in sensing technologies
  • Implementing control and data acquisition systems
  • Troubleshooting and debugging complex electronic hardware
  • Collaborating with engineers across disciplines to define specifications
  • Contributing to hardware and software improvements
  • Supporting technical work connected to future investment rounds

About you

You'll bring a degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), along with solid hands-on experience developing high-performance electronic systems.

Specifically, you'll have:

  • Strong analogue and digital circuit design skills
  • Experience with PCB layout and electronics prototyping
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused engineering mindset
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment, contributing to innovative projects from concept to launch

Benefits

  • c. £48,000 remuneration package
  • Employee share options
  • 26 days holiday + Christmas closure
  • Monthly knowledge-building sessions
  • Regular team events and socials

Due to the nature of the work and associated contracts, this role requires security and background checks. Applicants must have the permanent right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.

If you enjoy hands-on engineering, solving complex challenges and working on technology that pushes boundaries, this role offers an exciting next step in your career.

Apply with your current CV and we promise to get back to you as soon as possible.
