Location and Legalities

This full-time Solutions Engineer position is based onsite in our brand-new

Ultralytics office

in London, UK, with a hybrid model of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the UK, as Ultralytics does not provide visa sponsorship.


What You'll Do

As a Solutions Engineer at Ultralytics, you will be the technical face of our organization, working directly with clients to architect and deploy computer vision solutions using the

YOLO ecosystem

. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with clients to understand their use cases and challenges, architecting end-to-end solutions using

    YOLO models

    .
  • Delivering high-quality technical demos, onboarding sessions, proof-of-concepts, and workshops that demonstrate the power of

    Ultralytics tooling

    .
  • Designing annotation strategies and

    model training pipelines

    tailored to client data, goals, and deployment constraints.
  • Debugging client issues and delivering effective solutions with deep understanding of

    YOLO

    , Python,

    OpenCV

    , and model behavior.
  • Supporting pre-sales efforts by participating in technical discovery calls and helping shape proposals and SLAs.
  • Serving as a key technical advisor during customer engagements, ensuring successful integration and continued satisfaction.
  • Interfacing with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Product teams to advocate for customer needs and influence roadmap priorities.
  • Acting as a strategic technical advisor to clients, shaping computer vision solutions that drive tangible business outcomes.
  • Representing Ultralytics at conferences, webinars, and customer events while contributing to technical blog posts and educational materials.


Your strategic vision and technical expertise will be essential in supporting

Ultralytics' mission

of delivering top-tier machine learning tools and models like

YOLO11

to the community.


Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or applied AI roles.
  • Excellent client-facing skills: patient, resilient, and able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with the

    YOLO ecosystem

    .
  • Hands-on experience with

    OpenCV

    ,

    PyTorch

    , and classical ML/CV concepts.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end

    model lifecycles

    , including data collection, preparation,

    training

    ,

    evaluation

    , and

    deployment

    .
  • Experience with

    Docker

    and comfort working across Linux, macOS, and Windows environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach or mentor teams and developers through courses, bootcamps, workshops, or community engagement.
  • Comfort leading workshops, writing technical guides, or presenting to developer audiences.
