Risk Consultant

PACE Global is looking for a Risk Consultant

Job description

Risk Consultant

Location: London

Sector: Utilities / Infrastructure / Energy

Salary: £50,000–£65,000

Hybrid Working

You do NOT have to run QSRAs, this will be taught.

You will be working on major National Grid programmes.

Why this role stands out:

  • Work on nationally critical infrastructure with genuine long-term importance
  • Get close to major programmes where risk is visible, commercial, and taken seriously
  • Broaden beyond spreadsheets and reports into meaningful stakeholder-facing project controls work
  • Strong move for someone wanting to build credibility in complex energy and infrastructure delivery
  • Ability to learn

What good looks like:

  • Experience in project risk within infrastructure, utilities, energy, rail, defence, or major programmes
  • Comfortable maintaining risk registers, facilitating reviews, and driving actions with project teams
  • Able to challenge delivery teams properly rather than just logging risks and moving on
  • Confident working with stakeholders and turning risk data into something useful for decision-making
  • Understanding of risk processes, governance, and reporting within a live project environment

This is a strong role for someone who knows project risk, wants better projects, and wants to be closer to complex delivery.
