Works Preparation Engineer – Snowdonia

3-Month Contract

£500-£600 per day

We’re looking for a Works Preparation Engineer to join a dynamic team on a 3-month contract in Snowdonia, offering £500–£600 per day. This is your chance to play a key role in pre-construction planning and readiness for complex civil, MEP, and HV works.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead pre-construction activities, preparing technical proposals, risk assessments, and work plans.
• Analyse project specifications and technical data to inform project execution.
• Develop detailed schedules, resource plans, and budgeting forecasts.
• Collaborate with CAD/BIM teams to create 2D sequencing drawings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring clear communication and effective delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation, report progress, and manage technical queries effectively.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong civil engineering and construction knowledge with hands-on site experience.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of contract types.
• Experience on large, multi-disciplinary projects, ideally as an Agent or Sub-Agent.
• Familiarity with HSQE requirements and a proactive approach to safety.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

It is essential that you have the following qualifications:

• HND Civil Engineering
• CSCS Card
• SMSTS
