The Opportunity

A leading engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Fire & Security Project Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise-level electronic security systems on a major life sciences campus development in Oxford.

The project includes cutting-edge laboratories, research facilities and collaborative spaces, with a fully integrated security solution across the site including:

• IP CCTV
• Access Control
• Intruder Detection
• Video Management Systems

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile, technically complex project with strong long-term career prospects.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee the engineering, installation and delivery of large-scale security systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the delivery of enterprise-scale electronic security systems
• Coordinating with clients, subcontractors and internal teams
• Managing project controls, installation quality and programme
• Producing RAMS, reports and technical documentation
• Ensuring H&S compliance and security standards
• Driving successful commissioning and handover

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering electronic security projects
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of BSEN, NSI and H&S regulations
• Experience with IP CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems
• VMS platforms such as Milestone
• Understanding of IP networks and ELV systems
• Relevant qualification (C&G, HNC/HND or similar)
