Electrical Engineer – Social Housing (London - Roles in various areas)

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, installations, maintenance, and testing within social housing properties.
• Complete EICRs, remedial works, fault finding, and electrical upgrades.
• Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 and relevant electrical safety standards.
• Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service to tenants.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
• Follow safe working practices across all aspects of the job.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• City & Guilds Level 2 / Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (essential)
• AM2 qualification (desirable)
• Experience in social housing, domestic electrical repairs, maintenance, or EICR testing (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and safety standards

Desirable Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent
• Additional electrical certifications or specialist training courses
