The ideal candidate would have:

• Strong experience in service and small works
• Confidence working across CCTV, intruder alarms and access control
• Experience working in secure or high-compliance environments
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of workload

Qualifications:

• Full UK driving licence
• Either holds, or is eligible to obtain, high-level security clearance

About the role:

This role is with a well-established northern-based security systems company who are looking to appoint a Lead Security Engineer to take full ownership of their southern region, supporting a high-security clearance client.

Although the business is headquartered in the North, this role gives responsibility and autonomy in the South. You will act as the lead and most senior engineer for the region, managing your own diary and planning your workload.

The role focuses on service, maintenance and small works across a defined area between Luton and Reading, with minimal London travel. Work includes fault-finding, minor upgrades and system improvements, while acting as the trusted technical point of contact for a high-security client.
