Static Maintenance Plumber

• Some overtime available
• 36 - 38k salary

Here at ISS, as of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit a qualified Plumber with experience in Facilities Management to join their client's site in East Kilbride.

The site is a major Government office facility, totalling 6 floors with over 200 end user staff

Here, working with two other engineers you will be completing critical maintenance to ensure the building's smooth operation.

The majority of the work will be plumbing biased, with some general building fabric repairs too.

There is also the chance to upskill across more general mechanical tasks such as Boilers and other pressure systems.

There is also a pathway to Lead Engineer within this role.

Actions will include:

• Inspecting plumbing systems and identifying issues that need repair or replacement
• Repairing or replacing damaged parts in plumbing systems
• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as checking for leaks and maintaining faucets and fixtures
• Performs scheduled inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs, adjustments, testing, and troubleshooting of assigned mechanical equipment in accordance with plumbing codes, diagrams, operation manuals and manufacturer's maintenance instructions.
• Observes mechanical systems and fixtures in operation to detect failures or locate causes of malfunctions.
• Inspects used parts and equipment for changes in calibration, dimensional requirements and manufacturer's specifications. Tests and calibrates systems and equipment to ensure proper system
• Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, and Company policies related to building operations and work safety.

• Plumbing qualifications and sound experience within a similar role
