Glazing Role Summary
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year based on experience level
Location: Onsite at our Morecambe Lab
Type: Full-time 37.5 hours a week, potential shift working/extended hours may be required in line with the needs of the business, Part time options available (minimum of 28 hours)

As an experienced Glazing Technician, you’ll take on advanced glazing tasks, support colleagues, and help deliver the exceptional quality we’re known for. You’ll also be part of a workplace where your ideas matter and your efforts are recognised - one of the great benefits of being part of an EOT!
What You’ll Do:
Complete advanced glazing, edging, and finishing with accuracy and pride.
Operate, maintain, and confidently work with glazing equipment - MEI experience highly desirable but not essential
Tackle specialist, complex work (rimless, wrap, drill-mounted, high-curve) with skill and confidence
Lead by example in quality control and uphold our commitment to craftsmanship
Work closely with the wider team to keep production efficient, positive, and collaborative
Bring ideas, creativity, and energy to our continuous improvement efforts
Help maintain the fun, friendly culture that makes Optimum RX such a great place to work!
Who You Are:
Experienced in ophthalmic glazing with excellent technical skills
Positive, approachable, and a team player
Excited by innovation and new ways of working
Comfortable with glazing machinery - MEI experience is a big plus
Someone who enjoys a supportive, upbeat workplace
