Clearance Required: ACTIVE MoD DV (willingness to go through STRAP required)

IR35 Status: Inside

Day Rate: £DOE

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team supporting critical MOD infrastructure. This role will focus on network design, deployment, and management across multiple RAF sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide design expertise for future network upgrades, including preparation of SDRs, HLDs, LLDs, and test documentation.
• Build, configure, and deploy network hardware to implement design solutions.
• Offer guidance on network obsolescence, propose replacement hardware, and assess risks of network transitions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
• Act as the network manager for current infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience with CISCO and Dell network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CISCO Smart Account Management is desirable.
• Proven experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• MOD DV clearance is essential; willingness to go through STRAP is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple sites and tasks.
