Senior / Principal Structural Engineer – Manchester | Up to £60,000

I’m currently working with a growing civil and structural engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior / Principal Structural Engineer to join their Manchester team.

This consultancy provides structural and civil engineering design, construction management, and technical advisory services across a wide range of sectors including residential, healthcare, education, commercial, leisure and industrial developments. The team is known for delivering innovative, practical engineering solutions and working closely with developers, architects and contractors to take projects from concept through to construction.

With an expanding project portfolio across the UK, they are looking for an experienced engineer who can lead projects, manage client relationships and provide technical leadership within the team.

The role will involve:

• Leading structural design on a range of building projects

• Delivering projects from concept through to construction

• Designing in materials including steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber

• Managing client relationships and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams

• Mentoring and reviewing the work of engineers and technicians

What they’re looking for:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• Strong UK consultancy experience in structural design

• Ability to lead projects and manage client relationships

• Ideally Chartered (IStructE or ICE) or working towards it

• Experience with design standards including Eurocodes and UK Building Regulations

Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience.
