Site Manager - Sub Station

The Opportunity
Hays are recruiting a Site Manager to support substation renewal works on a major regional framework. This role involves overseeing multiple sites within the Coventry area and ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality delivery of all operational activities.
Your Responsibilities

• Develop Health & Safety Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments in line with current SHEQ legislation
• Liaise with clients, deliver progress meetings, and support audits
• Supervise and motivate site staff and subcontractors to maintain safe, responsible working practices
• Ensure all tasks are delivered to agreed timeframes and quality standards
• Manage day‑to‑day operations with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork
• Operate across multiple sites within the NGED framework

Role Requirements

• NGED OPS 2B
• Previous experience on power, utilities, or substation projects
• Experience operating at Site Manager level.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
