Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Go Backend Developer. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the development team to build and maintain robust backend systems for BabyReady’s platform. Day-to-day tasks include designing, constructing, optimizing, and deploying backend services, APIs, and database management systems. The role heavily emphasizes software craftsmanship, programming in Go, and robust system implementation for delivering scalable and efficient solutions.

This is a part-time role (~20 hours per week) with fully flexible working hours. Work can be done during evenings or weekends, making it suitable for engineers who already have a full-time position but want to contribute to an early-stage fintech product.

Compensation for this role is equity (company shares).

Qualifications

• Proven experience in backend web development and software development
• Proficiency in programming, including expertise in Go preferred, and understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Familiarity with front-end development concepts is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with cloud-based services and scalable architecture is a bonus
• Exceptional ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is an advantage
