Job description

Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)

Reports to: Senior Engineering Manager

Type: Full-time, Permanent

About Legado

Legado is a high-growth B2B SaaS company transforming how regulated financial services organisations communicate with their customers.

Our platform, CommsHub, Digital Vault, and LegadoSign, powers secure, compliant, auditable digital engagement at scale. We sit at the intersection of technology, regulation and customer experience, helping institutions move away from fragmented email, paper and legacy portals towards a modern, secure engagement layer.

Backed by FNZ and Souter Investments, and trusted by leading financial institutions, we are building the infrastructure for compliant digital communication in regulated markets.

This is not brochureware SaaS. This is secure messaging, durable medium delivery, evidencing, signing workflows and document control inside complex, high-stakes environments.

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Full Stack Developer to work across our entire product suite:

  • CommsHub: secure digital communications & engagement
  • Digital Vault: structured document storage & role-based access
  • LegadoSign: compliant e-signing & workflow orchestration

You will build scalable, secure systems used by regulated financial institutions, where reliability, auditability and performance genuinely matter.

You will also work with the latest development tooling, including AI-assisted workflows (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and similar tools) to enhance productivity and code quality. We actively encourage modern engineering practices and intelligent automation.
