About the Company

A well-established international construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing Project Management & Cost Management division in Greater Manchester

About the Role

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated QS early in their career to gain exposure to a diverse range of construction projects across sectors including commercial, residential, infrastructure and specialist developments. Working closely with experienced cost consultants and project managers, you will support the delivery of professional cost management services across the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of cost plans and project budgets
• Support procurement processes and preparation of tender documentation
• Analyse contractor tenders and assist with commercial evaluations
• Support contract administration and change management
• Assist with cost reporting and financial forecasting
• Attend project meetings with clients, contractors and consultants
• Support the agreement of final accounts

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar
• 1–3 years’ experience within a consultancy or main contractor environment

Required Skills

• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ambition to progress toward MRICS chartership

Pay range and compensation package

Location: £40k-£45k + Bonus + Benefits
