Experienced Plumber & Heating Engineer – Full Time

Location: Swindon and surrounding areas

Rate: £300 per day

Job Type: Full-time, Contract

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber & Heating Engineer to join a busy and growing plumbing and heating business covering Swindon and the surrounding areas.

This opportunity would suit a reliable, skilled engineer with strong domestic experience who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of plumbing and heating services within domestic and occasional commercial properties. The role requires strong fault-finding ability, attention to detail, and the ability to carry out work to current industry standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Boiler breakdowns and fault finding
• Boiler servicing and general maintenance
• Boiler and heating system installations (gas and oil)
• Landlord gas safety checks
• Diagnosing and resolving general plumbing and heating issues
• Accurately reporting findings and providing estimates for repairs
• Completing work to a high standard in line with current regulations
• Delivering a professional and friendly service to customers

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience in plumbing and heating
• Gas Safe accreditation
• Full UK driving licence with no points
• Strong diagnostic, servicing, maintenance and repair skills
• Good administrative skills for reporting materials and labour for additional works
• Professional, punctual and customer-focused approach

Desirable (but not essential)

• G3 Unvented qualification
• Oil and LPG experience
