Oil&Gas / Offshore / Maritime / FPSO / Wind Renewables
Key Responsibilities
- Structural Analysis and Design:
- Perform detailed structural analyses for Oil&Gas assets using ANSYS or similar software.
- Modelling and Simulations:
- Create 3D finite element models (FEM) for complex marine structures.
- Evaluate the effects of dynamic loads, such as wind, wave, and current forces.
- Code Compliance:
- Ensure designs meet relevant offshore codes and standards
- Prepare documentation, calculations, and reports for client review and certification.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Project engineer naval architects, mechanical engineers, and installation leads.
- Attend client and project meetings to provide technical input and ensure project alignment.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- Proficiency in structural analysis software, particularly ANSYS
- Proficient with design codes such as DNV, ABS,API, AISC and Eurocode.
