We specialise in road haulage services for manufacturers, construction companies and logistics providers, focusing on efficient fleet utilisation and long-term customer partnerships.
Role Description
We are looking to appoint a commercially driven Transport Sales Manager (Road Haulage) to help secure profitable transport contracts and expand our customer base.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with direct customers and negotiating transport rates that ensure sustainable margins.
This role is focused on developing long-term haulage contracts and improving fleet utilisation.
Key responsibilities include:
• Identifying and securing new transport
contracts• Developing relationships with manufacturers, construction companies and logistics operators
• Negotiating commercial transport rates and contract terms
• Building and managing a strong pipeline of potential customers
• Working closely with operations to ensure high service standards
Requirements
• Experience in road haulage or transport sales
• Understanding of transport pricing, margins and fleet utilisation
• Proven ability to secure new transport work or contracts
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Existing industry contacts are an advantage
